Ultimate Daily Driver LS1 F-body for sale. (sold) 2000 Trans Am. Pewter, 6 speed, WS6 clone, 70k miles. My car was built as the ultimate no-compromises daily driver. No compromises with power, durability, drivability, or fuel economy. This car has been a rolling test bed and has been chronicled in its many forms on LS1 Tech over the past 4 years: Stealth, torque, all-out hp and most recently, max power on 87 octane. http://guerragroup.com/2000TA_F1.JPG http://guerragroup.com/2000TA_F2.JPG I have planned on going forced induction for quite some time. I recently sold my 508 rwhp engine and built an even more expensive motor with the plans to add an APS twin turbo setup. The forged 347 was built to handle over 1000 rwhp. In N/A form, the new engine makes 440 rwhp/405 rwtq on 87 octane. 9.2: 1 static compression ratio. 26 mpg on highway, 16 mpg in city. Superb handling as a result of the full Sam Strano spring, bar, shock package. I have over $22,000 in mods (plus the cost of the car itself). I will sell the car for $19,500 including the Fikse wheels and Mamo-ported FAST 90 with NW TB. I will sell the car for $16,700 with stock WS6 wheels, LS6 intake and stock TB. In that form, the car makes 415 rwhp/395 rwtq. Here are all the upgrades and their new cost: http://guerragroup.com/2000TA_underhood7.JPG Engine 2k miles: HKE forged 347 short-block with Ross power-adder pistons -15.8cc dish, Ackerly & Childs nitrous/turbo rings, Scat I-beam rods, ARP main studs, ARP head studs. I will sell the car for $16,700 with stock WS6 wheels, LS6 intake and stock TB. The car can be driven cross-country and will run as fast as most balls-out heads/cam cars, but only on 87 octane. I also have a new APS twin turbo kit that is still in the box, unopened as it came from APS that I will have for sale. I also have a brand new (still in the box) BMR k-member that I can sell separately. These were to go on my car, but I have run out of time/interest to complete the project. I would like to sell the car complete as it stands, but if the right buyer does not come around, I will part out the car and return it to stock. Any questions, please ask. |
Good luck Pat, I am sure someone will take this off your hands. Do you have some new future plans? |

Patrick, do you have any sound clips of the car with the cheaper setup? The one with the 224/230 cam? I'm curious to see how civilized the idle is.. |

Would you consider selling the car with the FM10's and the LS6 intake and stock TB? If so how much would you want for it? |

I don't have one, but I'll take the camera outside and record a new idle clip as soon as I can. It's more civilized, but it still sounds healthy. |
