F/S 72 z28 street legal runs 10.0's
I have a 1972 orig z28. The car is silver with darker silver z28 stripes (ghost stripes). Car is street legal, lights work, blinkers etc. have exaust for it. 28x10.5" m/t slicks on rear, 12 bolt, 4.10s, full spool, 33 spline axles, c clip eliminators, braced up, adj. ladder bars on floaters. Fuel cell in trunk, battery in trunk, shut off switch, 10 pt cage, full interior, after market gauges. Hurst Pro stick w/trans brake, revers pattern manual valve body, turbo 350, 4500 converter, ultra bell housing sfi approved, braided fuel line from cell to carb, also for tranny cooler lines. Large aluminum radiator, elect fans on radiator and trans cooler. The motor in the car is a 496, dynoed at 759. .060 over 454 block, all forged eagle bottom end, je pistons, h beam rods, lunati solid roller, dart pro 1's cnc ported, crane roller rockers, comp push rods, victor jr. intake, 1050 dominator. Best time so far is 10.03. thats with a 1.42 60'. It was spinning a little off the line, some more tweaking on the suspension will be in the 9's easy. I have a 383 that took the car 11.60 first pass with no tuning. I would get rid of the car with either engine. $12,500 with the 383. $16000 with the bbc. I would look at trades as well...what ya got? I have the time to drive to deliver or trade etc. I will send pics, or put some up if i get instructions? thanks!
