and you can't beat the price, $36 lol. they are high flow. i dont know if they actually work for smog purposes, but i have no rasp with them on, which is what i care about.

i think it would be pointless to have cats that far away from the motor they wouldnt get hot enough to be effective im pretty sure.

yea ive heard of people doing that, it will take away the rasp. what we did for mine was we cut off about 2 inches off of the driver side cat, then welded the end part of the y-pipe to it, and then clamped that onto the header and it fit perfectly in that little groove there. for the passenger side there is a little more room to play around with
