Why do I get all the jerks that want to race me or cut me off to get me to race them whenever Im headed towards Van Nuys area, or in Van Nuys area?? Within the last 2 nights of me being in that area, Ive had 5 cars in total trying to race me. It first started off friday night headed down Victory and one honda accord, and one honda civic both driving like dicks cutting ppl off. Then they encounter me, and nothing better to do then swerve in and out of traffic, get in front of me, and slam on their brakes. I took some side streets to avoid them. Then later friday night, I was going Vanowen before Hazeltine, and theres this white S550 yet again swerving in and out of traffic, and at every light he would take off like a maniac. I was thinking to myself that it happens almost every time I go out there.

Now this was last night. Same routine, going to Van Nuys to hang out with my friend. I always take the same streets because the speed limit is 40, and theres normally less traffic. Im making a left onto Victory from Winnetka. I notice some smaller vehicle behind me with a headlight out, plus hes tail gating me. It turns out to be an older Eclipse with some Mr. Hardass looking guy with a bandana wrapped around his head. He insists on getting around me every chance he got. Ricer blowby's, tail gating other cars, and over taking cars to get into my lane. I then box him in behind a bus for him to finally lay off of me. The saturday night is coming to an end, and I was pretty tired. An now what pulls up next to me ready to cause a ruckus. A brand new M5 with a younger Armenian guy driving it. Same old story...chirping his tires at every light when he was next to me, getting infront of me and then riding his brake. Ugh...why does this always happen. Some people just need to realize that everyone isnt out to race.

That is why i drive in the slow lane on the freeway. The tailgating is the only thing i can't stand, but then again i don't make it any better by slowing down to the speed limit or slower when it happens.

 

I live right off of Saticoy, and Winnetka. I goto Van Nuys all the time because I use to live down there, and I went to Van Nuys HS. But its like every time I go down there there is always some jag off. Its sometimes empty, but when someone does want to race they dont have to use all of the Nascar evasive maneuvers on me. Or maybe its just me...

 

Well, the other option is driving a Camry.

I have only had one idiot like this since getting my Trans Am. Rode my tail. Revving up his little pissed off sewing machine at me. The noise was so annoying I actually powerbraked so he got to sit in my tire smoke. I figured if he will annoy with noise I will annoy him with tire smoke. Kids at a bus stop were laughing at the Honda when it revved, lol.

 

Used to get that **** all the time in the WS6. Haven't had to deal with it once in the impala.

My 80 Formula got picked on a lot. Only once in my T/A. I love the look of those Impalas, clean looking rides

so 20 minutes after i read this. i go out to just cruise around and drop off my boys tranny mount at his house. 4 blocks away from my house a ******* 89 3 series bmw wit MUSTANG GT fog lights pulls up and looks. i say **** it and jus drive normal kuz cops around here love pulling camaros over. so the next light he tried to "accidently" bump my car. that pissed me off. so the 3rd light i say **** it ima do it. i take OFF and hit like 100 or so b4 i stopped. i turn around to go back home and see his car smoking ahahahahah i look,laugh, rev, and go into my parking lot. i just went back oput there to walk my dog and his car is still sittin in the middle of the street ahahahaha wat a ******* idiot.
