Anyone know a good shop that will install some 3.73's into a 4th gen f-body located near Santa Barbara or Ventura?

SRJ can do gears with only a pry bar and a broken dial indicator, and still get the backlash on specs.

How loud are those 4.11's in your 12-bolt? Also what gear did you put in it (brand)? I will be rebuilding my 12-bolt because the gears that Strange put in them whine pretty bad.

It's actually for someone that I know - he needs gears.

Thanks all, if you have any more suggestions perhaps a little closer, that'd be great.

Nah, if I ever do gears I'm gonna throw in 4.11's. I have 3.42's (and replacement 3.42 r&p) already!

i am pretty sure i put us gear or precision gear, i usually only use those two brands on 10 bolts, 12 bolts, 9" rears for mainly street use, for full drag use cars i usually use the richmind pro gears

holy crap man, where have you been? hows the car coming along? Ive asked mike, he said that they dont like to do gears unless they are doing a lot of other work too (like your car, or should i say monster).

im kinda looking also for a place to do gears. i gotta get rid of my 2.73 gears already.

They installed my 4.10's and Eaton posi on my Impala there. I live in Oxnard and all the shops around here wanted to charge me around $300 more than 4 Wheel did. I also heard Hooper's does good work too, a transmission shop here recommended them to me, but back then they didn't open on Saturdays.

I went to ABE Transmission on 26524 Ruether Ave Suite #505 in Santa Clarita to get my 3.73 gears done. They have been in my car for almost a year now and I have no complaints. Here is their site: http://www.abetrans.com/
