As far as getting them off, use a hair dryer for about 1-2 min on high and they will peel right off. Use wd40 to get the residue off after you roll the big stuff off with your fingers!

I used a heat gun when taking one off of my front fender and I messed it up. I tried to take it off with a putty knife. I heard that you can take them off with fishing line & heat.

The place that painted my fender took them off and put them on a piece of cardboard. they look great (reusable). I'm going to use that one on the SS grille.

I bought new emblems for the Fenders. I still havent put them on yet, like you I've been wondering about putting them on in the right spot.

the panel back their is not called a "berger" in fact many people get confused with that due to the fact that "berger chevrolet in grand rapids michigan did this in the 60's as a signature thing. then gmmg replicated it on the 4th gen berger cars. the panel back thier is called nothing that i can think of.

and ill go home and measure for you if no one comes in here to help you

Goo Gone also works well to remove the adhesive.

Get yourself a bottle of goo gone and a putty knife. Drive around the LA area and find yourself a donk'd out SS and steal it's badges because it doesn't deserve them anymore.

those are for a black car. I don't think that the red outline would look good on a SOM car. Get the ones with the silver outline.
