Well I went met a coulpe guys danny from OC performance was there pretty cool guy we shot the **** for a bit while in the pits. Met Douglas with a black SS lowered with some TD's and I didn't get the other guys name in the red SS behind me in the staging lanes. My first run sucked I learned how to just about stall out an auto, launched a about 2-2200 rpms on stock stall went flat on its face, that was starting in second as well. Next run I went into first dead launched it and shifted at 6k thats when I got the 8.835 at 82.66 mph.

short shift next time and im sure it will go faster....its a stock car so you dont really need to drop the tire pressure much...try launching it off idle next time...

yeah thats what I did this time was off idle well on the second run when I got the 8.8. short shift?? its an A4 I was manually shifting it. I never checked tire pressure its set at like 35 PSI or may at minimum 30, I haven't touched the tires since I replaced the rears a week ago.

you might not need to drop the pressure in the back tires...
it will definitely go faster if you let the pcm shift for you...

yeah most likely, I will try that when I go again, three run I got the last one was 8.9 but that was cause I was listening to shift the car instead of watching the gauges. but all in all for a completely stock 2000 Z28 with the 2.73 gears and a steel drive shaft hardtop 8.8 doesn't seem too bad seeing as how I see some people with mods getting only a couple tenths faster.

thats a decent time adam. i would say to load it up to about 1200, leave it in 3rd, and feather it at launch. you dont have traction issues as much as irwindale, but your engine might be bogging. i think you are capable of times as good as mine.

Yeah Danny man it was pretty cool I kinda lost ya after my last run. But dude your car sounds like it will be a mean son of a bitch. Really cool man, it is cool to get into a car that has history and other people who enjoy it at least as much as i do, well I am kind of a fanatic so if the camaro was a girl she would think i was stalking her.
