Best source for complete LS1 in the CA Bay Area? Hey guys,
I'm brand new to the LSx game, as I'm just going to be starting an LS1 swap into a miata in a few weeks. I'm wondering if there are any dismantlers within driving distance from the SF Bay Area that are known to offer complete LSx motors and T56 trannys with a reasonable warranty? Perhaps out by Rancho? I don't mind going to SoCal if there's a really good place...
Any help for sourcing a complete takeout would be greatly appreciated.

You could ask Rick's rotary, not his specialty but I think he a has a miata guy who would know. I know someone who rents out miata's who would be good for info just don't know about conversions. Also try norcal-lsx.com that is the local sight, Nick at Newtech or Rick at Synergy (local tuners) can definatley help you out, I have seen some conversions over there including an ls-7 rx-7 they would definatley be able to help you out.
