Default FirstTime at Irwindale

Well it was my first time at irwindale tonight i just got invited by a friend and had no idea off running i still had my speaker box in the back with 2 12" subs and bald tires but tell me what u think of my timei have a few small mods like full hotchkiss suspension magnaflow Exhaust and a k and n air filter.

From what I can make out on the slip, you got a 1.9 60ft. Pretty damn good on bald tires.

Dude get some better tires I would say a solid 8.5 would be feasible. Congrats man.

Probably about 8.5, then the limiting factor is gonna be the stall.

Yeah cause just those mods it is pretty good. I ran an 8.8 with an all stock car on kumho ecsta's and a 2:73 rear that was most likely on its way out.

I ran an 8.2 in my 02 Z28. Mods were lid, muffler, maf.

ahhhh yeah I heard teh LS6 blocks had a little more umphh to them, well shoot I got slp ory for stock manifolds coming, jegs cb, and slp LID.

You heard it from an idiot. Those few LS1's that came with a LS6 block made absolutely NO more hp than a LS1 with a LS1 block.

I like idiots they are fun, they create that which us intelligent people must clean up. Ahhh ok then nevermind scratch that then he must have a factory freak or had his car dynoed on the famous dynapak.

i was surprised by my run last night 6.81 @ 105.6 MPH in the vette, i was hoping for low 7's, then they kicked me off
