I would say as long as you don't (1) talk about something you don't know about like you are the master of it and cut down everything that anyone else says, (2) act like you; are the best driver/have the fastest car/are god's gift to the world, and (3) lie to/steal from/disrespect other car enthusiasts, then you will be a decent car guy.
Additional point adders include having a good significant other (being PC lol) who will support your car "habit" (i wanted to say addiction but that is a little too strong of a word lol), helping other car guys without assuming you will get something in return, and not letting the "cocky jerks" make you down-grade to their level.

Some of mine... I've been slacking on tinting the back window, but for some reason the cops don't pay attention to my tinted sides...

I dunno I am not looking or have ever dated a guy so can't add really, yeah what is up with people who help you work on your car and expect something from it, **** lee helped me massively I owe him just cause thats how I am but dang. And there will always be something better and faster. Love what ya got, cause you got what you love.

Nice man just now finishing it? hahaha I finished the full one not the pee one on sunday watching the chargers get their *** handed to them by the steelers.
