Yeah neither do I but for some reason people get surprised when they find out I can actually work on a car.

It surprises me that there are people out there that are clueless to mechanics, I mean everyone depends on vehicles for everything. I always thought that was kind of weird. Especially with all these crooked mechanics everywhere.

+1 I am the only one that touch's my car, my bro helps me with some tech but 99% of the work is done my me on my car, but if someone has no mechanical skills they should'nt be touching there car, it can get very expensive.

My dad used to work at a gas station and he saw this guy with a brand new Ford Taurus(back in the 80s) with his hood popped checking his fluids. The guy started it up and tried to take off but the car wouldn't even make it out of the gas station, well this guy ends up filling up his engine with water, filled it full to the oil cap. My dad just did an oil change and said take it back to the dealer and tell them that something making noise in the motor and he didn't know why.

People like that should work on there own cars.
