Well I was at In N Out swapping a lower airbox. Only took about 5 minutes.
Apparently it's a crime to spend 5 minutes working on your car in a privately owned parking lot when your car breaks. I guess AAA mobile repair guys are exempt, or they just break the law several times a day?
No I didn't get in trouble, but the cop had some sort of vendetta against me for some reason. What an *******. He told me "well if you're going to eat at In N Out, then GO INSIDE AND EAT, then LEAVE."
This is what I wanted to say:
THIS ISN'T RUSSIA AND YOU AREN'T THE SECRET POLICE. **** OFF. I'M ON PRIVATELY OWNED PROPERTY AND NOBODY HAS COMPLAINED.
This is how the conversation went:
"Hi Officer"
"Hi. What are you doing?"
"Well, my car broke but I had an extra part in the car so I'm fixing it. Only takes 5 minutes."
"Yeah well you know it's illegal to work on your car in a parking lot"
"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't know that... Sorry."
"It's common sense. Loitering is also illegal."
"Well I mean I pulled in here and I am going to eat at In N Out as soon as I fix my car so I can leave"
"Well if you are going to eat at In N Out then GO INSIDE and EAT then LEAVE."
This is where I apologized and acted like a stupid citizen who doesn't know his rights so he would leave, then kept working on my car for another 2 minutes to finish it off.

One showed up at In-n-out and told us to leave. so we went to stater brother and not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 cop cars showed up, along with a brief appearance of a helicopter. all because they received a call that a fight was going down.
they were pretty chill and just hung out for a good 30 minutes then all took off in different directions. Soooo... we headed down to the spot, had a good couple of runs, then heard word of the return of our new friends and we all peaced out. 
Yeah pay them no attention, the only time to worry is when we hit the spot and start running, thats when I know I can't be a dick to the cop. Otherwise we are doing nothing wrong any other time, they just get mad cause the donut shop closed up and they couldn't get their bavarean cream pile of ****.
