Umm.... no. Not even in the same field. The ZR1 is an animal. Not even Ferraris new v12 was able to hang. Now imagine a ZR1 with headers, a tune, maybe a cam and pullied! For $120,000 nothing gets close.

Well blow my doors off....That ZR1 is the *****!!!!!!!

I'm suprised the GTR was not in front after 60mph... AWD and 0-60mph in 3.2 seconds is hard to beat.. I think the driver of the GTR didn't hit that launch control button in fear of tranny failure... Hmmmm?

Camarojunky74 - The GT FORD is a badass car and is priced at around $130,000 used today, I just checked.....The GT FORD would get housed in that race link above though... The Ford GT500 and Cobra's are way lessor cars then the GT Ford..... However, I do think the GT500 is the most comfortable and roomy sportscar out of them all if you can believe that.... I don't even like Ford either..

Just so you guys don't think I'm talking out of my ***...I recently sat in all the fastest stock cars at the Los Angeles Auto Show last year...All of them except the million dollar Bugatti..It was roped off....The ZR1 fit was really tight, maybe even tighter then the ZO6's... If your over 6 feet tall you will start to get squeezed, no lie and that's with the seat all the way back..... I'm 6'5" 230lbs and didn't fit in the ZR1...

Im 6'6 260 and I liked the fit of the ZR1. When it comes to sports cars I like to be nice and tight and close enough to the wheel to feel in control of the car. I hate taking hard turns while my *** slides around in the seat. If you own a ZR1 its not made to be a cozy cruiser, thats what the CTS-V is for.

Comfort vs. 200+mph? I'll take 200+mph.

Great video!!!

I like how people immediately start defending the GTR in the comments...probably because it got LAST.
They start to say that the GTR will out handle all those cars...didn't they see that the ZR1 was faster than the GTR at the Nurburgring?!

Plus they ignore the fact that the GTR was tuned by Nissan for more power than stock to impress the press and that they used road racing tires while the ZR1 was all stock down to the rubber.

Yeah, race tune + professional driver + semi-slick tires vs. good driver + stock everything...and it still LOST!
