I went there yesterday and asked him what the deal was.
He gave me the excuse of backordered parts. He said that the customer wanted specific parts only & they were not available right away. I asked him why he hasn't had the shop open, and he never gave me an answer. He did tell me that the car would be done today for sure. I guess we will have to wait and see.

OCGMP called me today at 5pm to tell me that my water pump gasket and oil pressure sending unit were out. They just figured that out after 3 month of staring at it. They couldnt call me earlier when they knew the car wouldnt be ready today. They called me an hour before the time they promised the car would be ready. I was coming from Upland and I was 3/4 of the way there.
Now they are claiming the car will be ready by 6pm tomorrow.
And the motor is still not in the car and probably not even on the K-member!

That sucks man, sorry to hear about all of the problems you are having, but hopefully people will read this thread with all of your problems and at least think twice before taking their cars there.
I was going to wait to say anything else until he got his car back, but this is just bullshit. I told Danny that there was a thread on LS1Tech about how he was flaking on this job, and he told me he didn't care what anybody said about him on LS1Tech. I told him that he should at least post a reply that he is working on getting this car finished, and he said he doesn't care what people think on LS1Tech. So everybody on this website (who Danny doesn't give a crap about) DO NOT GO TO THIS GUYS SHOP!!!

just keep buggin them. i would be ******* LIVID...this reminds me of andys auto performance back in the day...
These situations suck. This is part of the reason I like to try to do my work myself, that way I'm the only holdup. I can't believe he would say he didn't care about a huge customer base like that though. Hope you get your car, or your money and all the peices soon.
Did you call him before you left Upland? Did he say it would be ready?
