I might be there as well, might be the last time i can get to Irwindale for a while. Soon to replace Irwindale with Famoso.
Got injectors, but have no one to tune car. George is extremely busy with personal matters and i don't trust any one else to touch my car. It could be up to a month before i see them in my car, so for now have to shift at 5800-5900 to be safe.

Gotcha, yeah I hope he gets things worked out, shenanigans I tell ya. Well I should be there too and I will run.
Nice. You'll be there? What times are you expecting? That's one badass LT1!!!
Motor's still fresh so I'm not spraying it. It's gonna be undergeared with the 4.11s plus i only have a 1330 joint in the rear so I'm not sure about 6k rpm dumps. Don't have a 2 step on it yet, plus I've never driven on a bias ply tire before haha so if it runs 9.5 at 98 mph then we know where the problem is.

yea motor is new, went with the mcleod bellhousing, new spec stage 5, stock trans, pst shaft, 9" has only 1k miles in 2 years. I haven't taken this car to the track in almost 3 years, and that was when it was making maybe 400 rwhp with ported heads and a cc306. It'd be cool if a lot of guys went out to give me some input, especially what the car's doing at launch. I've got a decent idea of shock settings, but i don't have a DA shock in the rear which is going to give me some problems. Oh yea Spec said you dont' need to break in their stage 5 since its a track clutch, just make a few easy passes and it's good to go, but I've put about 75 street miles on the car already so it'll be fine.
oh yea stock rear sway bar too i have a bmr anti roll bar, but need the brackets welded to the frame and then i need to order the mounting brackets that go on the axle tubes. I think I'm gonna be getting a lot of twist on the launch.
