bare minimum get a cam,

youll have to reuse all the intake and injectors because they are truck specific.

also if you have some basic knowledge you can make your own standalone harness.

and good luck with the swap post pics

call up one of the sponsors on here, theyll put you in the right direction, since you have the higher compression flat top pistons you might be good with those heads, but give em a call, whats your power goal and what will you be using this for strip or show?

i personally had great luck with thunder racing for camshaft discussion http://www.thunderracing.com/

it should be able to get through smog with a small cam, but since youll have to take it to a referee, make sure your swapping in all the evap crap and you cant change out the heads. Also if it had a 4l65 behind it, it needs to be all hooked up and integrated into ur truck. you may need a electric to mechanical speedo converter and also the manifold and cats with 02 sensors have to remain in the same location. hopefully you can still scavenge some parts off that escalade. cali is a biatch for smog legal swaps

ya i would, itll be a project enough to just do the swap, just do a cam swap later that way you can do a proper tune.
