Not a bad idea though cause a lot of people who have owned or own them don't get that temps will fluctuate.

that sounds like it would make sense lol

I have seen people rewire the harness to use the three prong temp sensor for accurate readings.

how hard is that to do? seems like buying an autometer gauge or something would be the easiest

yeah ryne i ran a 8.159 60 foot was a 1.780 had traction problems i need new drag radial mine are gone dont know which ones to get my friend that i was racing in the gray t-type tolled me to get some mt et streets think ima go with those see if i get into the 7s with those cuz i was spinning my bald bfg past the tree better luck next time right

ryne the funny **** about irwindale was that i was gang banggin juki on everyone inside joke lol i had it chillin in the passenger seat lmfao

if you want to leave hard with manual a bias ply et street would most likely be best, because the soft sidewall will absorb some of the shock.

they will work, you just cant dump the clutch, you need to finesse it a little, but they will hook.

That's what I plan to do. I figure start at 3500 rpm and let off quick (not sidestepping) and dial it in from there...that is if my stock clutch will take it.

sounds like a good idea...... if its still an organic disc clutch , it wont take this kind of launch for long

i be dumping my **** like at 4500 dont know what clutch i got tho but yeah ima get a good tire so i can hook up and then see what i run.
