paint and new hood Hey guys just thinking about future goals for this T/A i picked up. How much would it cost to paint it not going anything fancy well... no not really just want to re-do the mystic teal. about how much does a good paint job run input from the guys that have actually painted their f-bodies would be great. and does anyone know where i can pick up a predator or superhawk hood?
i just got my camaro painted and the shop charged $2500 for any stock colors (as well as stock colors for pretty much any other car) and $6000 for candy paint. they gave me a good deal and also installed/fitted my new cowl hood and did some other body work for the same $2500. and i'm dropping my trans am off on monday to have my new ws6 hood installed/painted at a local shop. my price is going to be around $400 to color match to my red trans am. based on what i've heard around and online, a general price for a good paint job is around $2000-2500
