LS2 short block or bare block... Where can I buy a low mileage good condition LS2 short block for a reasonable price from a reputable supplier? Possibly just a bare block and caps also, either one.

I'm sure it's not a deal you want lol. I've seen LS2 short blocks go for ~1000 or less. I would LOVE to have forged pistons and compstar rods don't get me wrong, but I can't afford it. I have LS3 heads, LS3 intake, 90mm TB, just got a deal on some Kooks 1 7/8"x2" headers. Last two things I need (and the most expensive on the list) are the short block and a T56 transmission.
Maybe if I get somemore jobs lined up, I could get that engine.
I also have an extra set of L92 heads that I have to sell...
