i too believe that the formy hood is lighter than a ws6/firehawk hood. even though it is steel it is paper thin. it definitely felt lighter when I held both

Looks really really good. I'd take out the rear rubber spring isolators for an even more aggressive look.

thanks

I'd go with a painted carbonfiber hood, LIGHT as hell, it fit really well too. TA wing and the car would be perfect! Either way car looks bitch'n!

I agree. It needs the T/A wing for sure and WS6 or Firehawk hood. Also, painted calipers would look good.

I absolutely love SOM and the Fikses!

i like the stock v6 look of it...it kinda grew on me but for some reason some ppl who i would think know the diff still think this is a v6 hahaha either way only hood i want is a firehawk and im keeping the stock wing since i will not change the rear bumper there is no reason to change the spoiler

the calipers i wanted to do it at the same time since i changed new slotted rotors when i lowered it but i was on a time limit so i will do that soon....thanks

4 things i would do to it.

1) Clear corners
2) Stainless front bird/heat extractors
3) SOM calipers
4) Different exhaust tips

other than that looks damn good

I actually saw a '03 Viper engine pull out for sale on Ebay and I thought, damn, that would be sick in a v6 Fbody (if it fits).

but not sure.

actually i don't think so cause that guy had sold the tires before the rims, and i don't think camaro and firebirds backspacing and offsets are the same considering the wideness of firebirds and t/a's...they would probably look like a sunken battle ship maybe i'm wrong...if so correct me please cause i would like to know for sure

btw: 59 camaro your formy is amazing...leave it just like that

Looks clean. I don't know about the Firehawk hood but the Raptor hood I put on is at least 1/2 the weight (at least it feels like it) of my stock steel hood, which seemed to weight the same as an SLP SS fiberglass hood. Those OEM SS hoods are stupid heavy for being fiberglass hoods. I'm sure on Camaros there is not much weight difference between stock steel and the stock SLP SS fiberglass hoods.
