Years of working your way up from a PA (production assistant) And this biz really is about who you know. From celebs to co-workers.
I was actually gonna try to get you on here as a graphics guy . I'm not sure if our last "after-effects" guy was coming back or not. (I'm at work right now, and i have some pull on hiring and firing) But congrats on FINALLY finding a gig. I know you were sweating it! Glad you didn't have to sell the ride either. I saw it at the meet, and wanted to say hi to you, but didn't know what you looked like.
So....am I an actor too? Kind of, i guess, right? lol. .....just not as big as you yet...

Oh yeah, to update my "resume" on here, I just shot "24" so if you watch the show then during the 10am-11am hour of this season I'll be chasing "Jack Bauer" (for all of like 7 seconds ).

I monkey with things that float in space.
As a secondary (and much more interesting) income, up until recently I was also employed as a Shell Station graveyard shift attendent. It's amazing the caliber of society you become familiar with when you work a downtown, 24 hour convenient store/gas station between the hours of 11pm and 7am. I was yelled at one morning for wearing latex gloves when the manager came in. He said it made a bad impression. I replied that it couldnt have been worse than handing someone their change in dollar bills that were tightly rolled up with one crimson stained edge and one powdery white one.
I no longer hold a position at that place of employment.

But HK really is as cool as it looks on TV. And we tape almost 24 hrs a day so we've got TONS of footage.
