Has anyone seen it yet? I want to go see it, but I am having mixed emotions about whether it will be good or not.

True, it would have to be special to stand out with all the end of the world movies out recently.

Looks like just another post-apocalyptic movie to me. Knowing that there's a twist, maybe humanity is saved and thus it sets it apart from all the others lately.

It was good... not great. It did have a lot of fighting scenes and Denzel is awesome.

A twist would be that all of humanity, and all life on Earth for that matter, is wiped out in one fell swoop. Leaving Earth a desolate wasteland.

EDIT: Or is that the ending of "The Knowing?"

I wouldnt mind seeing it but, there are plenty of post-apocolyptic movies out there. This one seems like a cross between Cyborg and Postman.
Cyborg
Mad Max 1,2,3
The Postman
Waterworld
Jericho (tv show)
Terminator 1,2,3,4
Soylent Green
A Boy and his dog
Matrix 1,2,3

Too many apocalyptic films where the world is always saved and the future actually has less technology. I just wanna se a movie where everyone dies especially the good people/heroes.
