haha i can rev if i see you, but my new company car will be the 'oh-so-lame' prius. yes, the 2010 one with the crappy brakes. so i doubt youll hear me rev.
im thinking about getting a license plate frame that says "My Other Car Has an LS1!!"
oh, so i just got word that because of the recall I had the option to get a different vehicle. here are my options:
-2010 Impala (crappy v6 model) *basic car, but might be large enough
-2010 Fusion (with leather and upgraded stereo) *might be too small, but nice car
-2010 Legacy (base 2.5 liter model) * might be too small, but its awd
all have bluetooth connectivity. I will tint it no matter what it is, and while i might be inclined to go with the chevy, the fusions are nice now and it would be well equipped.
also, im thinking either silver (to stand out less to cops) or black (to be somewhat stylish).
Chevy: The Impala LS that I can get is very basic. The car is pretty large, but the driver seat is surprisingly cramped for the cars size. the interior feels very cheap and poorly assembled. the window switches seem very generic, and the dash is plain and boring. This car has not been updated since 2006 (i drove it when it came out and i worked for Enterprise).
Subaru: The Legacy is very nice. The white paint has a pearl finish to it, and the interior is pretty nice. the problem is the size of the trunk and the drivers space feels cramped as well. This car feels much nicer than the Impala.
Ford: The Fusion that I can get is an SEL model with leather and upgraded stereo. The drivers area is pretty comfortable. The stereo is pretty nice and it has that wanna be on-star system where it uses bluetooth and downloads your contacts, as well as giving directions by voice (not full nav). The trunk is much larger than it appears from the outside. its not as deep as the impala trunk but its wider. This is what i will order.
At the ford dealership there was an 04 cobra coupe in red that was just traded in. It has 28k miles with bassani x-pipe and exhaust and a few other mods. dynos at 450 at the wheels. It was just trade din last night, but im going to check back to see how much they are going to list it as.
