Title transfer Anybody ever been in this position...ok im selling my car out of state, but i dont have the title in hand cuz i still owe money from the bank..onces he pays of the rest of the money through the bank how long will i have to wait before i get the title? is there anyway i can speed up the process to get the title? ..or how long did it take for you to have the title in your hand after you paid off ur car loan.thanks
gunna take about two weeks, just go down with the buyer and have a bill of sale notirized... i have done this with a couple vehicles before, just make sure to follow through and mail the title once you recieve it

On all of mine its almost 2 weeks to the day to get the title. I agree with above, have the Bill of Sale notorized and put in there that you will send it...and send it. Done deal.
