Default new cat back is being made!

well I was installing my SBC and I had to un bolt my exhaust to weld it up and I looked at my cat back and its rusting thru at the seem. There are a lot of rust hole but whats weird is you couldnt hear an exhaust leak, I mean there are holes all along the seems. Well I didnt really want to buy a cat back I had no choice so I ordered a stainless 3" cat back form spintech, its being built now and should be done mid next week!

I dont know why but the exhaust component is always much more fun to anticipate besides dropping a built motor.

sounds tempting I'm still up in the air on what I'm gonna do with this car, a badass 383, 355, or maybe an lsx swap not sure but whatever I do I wanna put down 350+rwhp. I dont wanna spend TOO much on it cuz I'm really wanna also get another lsx 4th gen bird again but I guess I'll just see what my money situation is when that motor decides to finally go.

true. Sound is really important on a nice car, I've never hear spintechs either so I'm really excited to see/hear it.

There's a LM7/4L60E w/ 15k miles for $1200 on CL right now. You could get it for less.

I agree I would look for an iron block! You can pick one up with some 5.3's very cheap!

true, but I'll have to get a t56 too. Either way when the motor goes out I'm gonna really have to weigh my options. The 5.3 is a great idea too. I wanna build a motor but at the same time I'm sick of working on this car, it seems like thats all I've been doing to it. I'm just gonna drive it for a while and just save some money.

You could alwasy get a T56 later. A T56 conversion is pretty simple.
