Default Quick Question!

Will a spare tire (donut) from a 94 camaro fit an 01 Trans Am? I got a flat tire and Im in need of a tire asap and Have the oppertunity to get one. Thanks

It should, but no guarantees. The rear hub circle sizing is different between LT1 and LS1 styles but the bolt pattern is the same... Fronts should clear no problem as long as you DON'T have a big brake kit. I mentioned the rear because some people are dumb enough that they put the spare on the back, but I hope you realize the reasoning for not putting a spare on a power wheel.

thanks alot man I appreciate it, and no its the front passenger side wheel I hit a mean pot hole yesterday that I couldnt avoid in time and my tire popped on impact.

That's not what he meant. If you had blown out one of your rear tires, you are supposed to put one of the front tires on the rear and use the spare up front.

Unless you have the big brake kit like me and it the spare doesnt fit up front.

What I do then (with a simple nail in tire flat, not a shredded tire) is plug the tire with a simple tire kit, either on the side of the road or nearest exit, with a tire repair kit. Worth its weight in gold when its needed.
