Default Nitrous in California?

I am looking into my options for a California setup. I will end up with an STS eventually, but in the meantime, I'm going smaller cam with the 384 and hoping to keep the nitrous. Will I have to pull the nitrous off to pass emissions?

At 1st I was told they wouldn't smog me because of the Nitrous, They gave in after I pissed & moaned about it. They know me pretty well now though so I am sure they are doing me a favor. I am willing to bet you will have a hard time passing visual.

other than California Penal Code 381b, which makes possession of nitrous with intent to inhale a misdemeanor, there are no laws that specifically ban it from use on a car.

From what I was told by a smog guy... You can't have anything going in or out of your factory intake unless it has a carb sticker on it. If they see the lines or noids they could fail you. If they can't find anything then what they don't know cant hurt ya.
