whats real??? So on another forum Im engaged in a discussion. I wanted everyones take here on this:
Is a Roush Mustang still a Roush mustang even if its just a body kit and wheels? Same with Saleen...
I say no. If theres no performance upgrades then its just a stock car with a body kit. A Roush Mustang is a Roush because it has upgraded suspension and a supercharger.

I believe stage 2 starts the performance upgrades

Yes there are different stages of Roush Mustangs. Stage 1 and sport packages usually being the body kits and wheels and body parts. and I do believe all Roush mustangs are numbered and badged not sure tho

this might be true, but heres the thing... Roush is known as a performance company. Same goes for Saleen. Even if its "official" and made by the company, it still doesnt represent what we think of when you say what it is.

even my Z28 is an SS clone but I wont put an SS badge on it ever!
however comma--I think i understand what you are asking; if u purchase Roush or any other companies performance parts then feel free to sticker up, but it wont be a true Roush Performance vehicle. same with lingenfelter, and Nismo, all those companies
If its a clean ride I got to give him props. Now if its some shitty *** fiberglass kit that was rattlecanned then ya its lame. There's a blue new body mustang that runs around here and its a clean *** saleen clone but it just a v6.
