Default sticking throttle body?

a buddy of mine has a z28 that accelerates on its own (yes ive seen it for myself) and he's runnin out of ideas of what it could be. let me know whats up so we can fix this problem of his before something happens.

Is it an aftermarket TB? Have you verified that there are no kinks in the throttle cable? Possible bad IAC?

no this z is BONE stock.... except for the retared *** 20's or 22's he has on it. he just told me about this not to long ago. how would you verify if there are "kinks" in the cable and the IAC, he told me he cleaned it up a bit but other than that, thats pretty much it for now until i look further into his car.

Check to make sure one of the blade screws hasn't come loose. It has a small amount of play if the screws aren't tight and can definitely stick in the bore. Check it by opening it half way and holding some tension on it as it goes back, if you feel friction you might have to re-center it.
