Angry Got another F#cking ticket...

The bastard was on a bike and hiding behind a billboard...

69 in a 55...

The road I was on was in the middle of nowhere and straight as an arrow. No cars in front of me or around me for that matter. So I was just cruising along and sure enough BAM! Nailed me with the radar gun.

It'd be one thing if I was doing 80 in a 55, but honeslty everyone does around 65 - 70 on that road (Winchester Rd. going from Hemet to Temecula in the French Valley area). Seriously though, who doesn't do 10-15 over the speed limit these days ... If you don't do it, you'll get your *** run over by the guy behind you! If it were an unsafe speed I'd also say it'd be different, but really it's not for that area.

In the end, yes I was wrong, yes I got caught, yes I'm pissed. But the piece of **** didn't have to be hiding on the other side of a hill behind a sign.

Traffic Cops (CHP in this case) suck my nuts...

I am not 100% sure, and I am sure someone will prove me wrong if I am but aren't cops in CA supposed to be visible when clocking you? I thought that was one of the good laws some hippies bitched and moaned about.

At any rate Wes, wouldn't it be time to slow it down? I go the speed limit maybe 5 over if I am in a hurry. Im not an old guy either. LOL, geez man I know you got that race car and all but shoot, it is only a race when there is another person there to race HAHA (sorry had to add some humor).

Actually I was in my Junkstang

That car will barely do 80 and sounds like a friggin tractor from a fat header leak I have!

Holy Crap Wes!!!! You got caught speeding in your Stang????? You should have asked to see the radar gun and then High Five the cop for being able to get it over the speed limit!!!!

that sucks. ask for a trail and hope the officer doesnt show up. I just got a speeding ticket dismissed last month. I was lucky that the officer didnt show up.

Radar detector? I have yet to be ticketed from an officer using a radar gun about 7 years since buying one. Paid for itself many times over in the first year.

And I wish everyone did 10-15 over the limit around East LA. You're lucky if people even go the speed limit even in light traffic, on the freeway or streets. Try to go 10mph over and you fly by everyone and become very noticeable to CHP.

Cops are not allowed to hide that is true...BUT if the are visible from ANY direction its not considered hiding. So most cops don't hide they place themselfs to catch people driving how they normally drive.

Unless the laws have been changed, CHP is suppose to be visible and if at night, their parking lights are suppose to be on.
But that sucks that you got a ticket. Hope all goes well.
