So there I was heading home on the 210 West from class, I got on the freeway at Citrus Ave, and was going to be getting off at Myrtle Ave. This is about a 5 mile stretch give or take a mile. I am happy my car is running well ish for now (issues with my ebay headers) and decided since there is a traffic break and plenty of room in front of me I would go ahead and get on it for a second then slow back down.

I floor it, the car gets up and goes I am not paying attention to my speed more of how the car feels and listening for any strange noises. I slow back down after maybe getting up to 100 maybe a little more, this was about an 1/8th mile or so of me flooring it past the 605 to 210 interchange.

I am now slowed to 65 mph behind another person just enjoying life, all the sudden I see what looks like crown vic head lights fly up on me. I think to myself "**** you dumbass you are going to get your first speeding ticket for that crap." Sure enough cop lights me up.


I pull off the freeway at Moutain Ave. stop right by the Best Buy that is now there, roll down my windows shut the car off put the keys on the dash and put my hands out the window. The cops partner comes up and says keep your hands there my partner will come talk to you.

Cop comes up and is like so you got any guns, knives, or anthrax in here? I laugh and am like No sir none of the above, he asks if I am coming from the shooting range or anything, I say nope coming from class. The other cop asks why I have boots in the back I say that I am in the Auto program at the Community College. They both asked wtf were you doing? I said just being stupid, i saw a nice clear freeway and don't get on it that much and decided heck it is a nice night, that's why i slowed down I wasn't trying to go for a speed record just being stupid.

Cop gets my license and registration looks at them both and says have a nice night and slow down.

Wow, I got lucky, but I was thinking that I would get a ticket for sure.

DUde I was shitting buildings, I have a clean driving record. I am definitely not going to be speeding anytime soon.

Ohh and it was LA county Sheriff, I was glad I think CHP would have written me up for sure.

My only experience with Sheriffs they fucked with me and my friends hard but ended up letting us go.

lol man i use to get pulled over left and right i know the feeling, i also said "i was jus being stupid" aha and just told him the truth "yea i know i did an illegal u-turn i just got lazy and didnt want to drive all the way down the street for another mile or so to turn around, i'll take my ticket now" and he was like "what ticket?, u have license, reg, insur." yes. "whose car is this?" mine. "okay have a nice day". in my head i was like wtf u dont wana see my license or paperwork hmm whatever lol

 

yeah honesty works the best i was driving from where a 45 changed to a 25 one time and wasnt paying attention cuz i was jamming and a cop was set up right at the sign pretty much.. pulled me over and asked why and i said "my bad man i wasnt paying attention i was jamming to my tunes" he laughed and told me to slow down and pay attention

I know that rpg would have gotten in bad trouble, thankfully it was hidden below my barrage of micro fiber towels lol.

Yeah by the time they caught up to me I had just slowed down to 65 mph, and they probably hadn't gotten a read on me, just saw me fly by then went to try and catch up.

Yeah unfortunately I was stupid at like 10 pm last night.
