He's also a tune by Ryne. His mods are 3:42's, FTI 3200, xtreme transmission level 2, JBA Shorties with the stock cats/pipes, LM1, LS6 intake with EGR provision, and SLP intake.
He is a big kid @ 375 lbs. He's hoping to hit 7's but wants to stay smog legal. Did you get to test mods as you added them? What worked best for you?
Thanks

He was at his truck we saw the burn out marks on the ground. He then hit the trailer and his own truck then went thru the fences into staging. But he was in the pits NEXT to the return lane. Atleast that's what the cops said and the burnout marks to prove it.

Freak Drag Racing Accident in Fontana,,,
"I used to follow drag racing quite a bit and was always impressed with the power and speed of those cars. Today there was a freak accident at the Auto Club Dragway in Fontana that took the life of a driver:
A drag racer was killed Saturday at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana when the transmission on his dragster engaged during a break test, propelling the vehicle into a parked trailer at more than 100 miles per hour.
The crash happened at 8:30 a.m. in the pit area of the race complex, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Ronald F. Marcum, 53, of La Habra was seated behind the steering wheel of a dragster conducting a transmission-brake test, CHP Officer Jeff Briggs said.
The test involves revving the vehicle's engine at high RPMs while the transmission is not engaged. National Hot Rod Association rules require such tests to be conducted with a vehicle's tires off the ground, but Marcum did not follow that procedure, according to Briggs.
While Marcum revved the engine, the dragster's transmission suddenly engaged, and the vehicle sped off at more than 100 miles per hour.
The dragster crashed into a parked trailer.
Briggs said only that Marcum sustained fatal injuries in the crash.
Given that the pit areas of drag races are generally open to the public it's a wonder there wasn't anyone else hurt in this crash."
sounds kinda the same ,,, so you guys testing trans brakes ,,jack up the car and support it with jack stands ...

Just a freak accident. Thankfully no one was seriously hurt.
Nice runs btw adam. I couldn't get my tires to hook up. I spun all the way to the 60'. Best run was a 7.9

i was gonna start video taping the aftermath, but it seemed a little disrespectful to the lady on the ground, and once emergency personnel showed up they were yelling at everyone in the crowd to disperse
