Trouble with ignition motor began to misfire after valves went bad. Engine light continued to flash until eventually the motor completely stopped running. Fuel pump has been replaced along with head gaskets, intake and exhaust valves spark plugs, spark plug wires and coils and the motor will still not fire. There is an MS4 cam in the motor and have yet to have it tuned. Perhaps the ecu has gone bad? Any suggestion? thanks
engine light flashingis a sign of a misfire. How long have you been running the ms4 untuned? What is wrong with the valves?
Is the engine getting spark? Fuel filter changed recently? How is the compression? Are you getting fuel to the rail? Have you tried to have codes read? If it was misfiring there should be a record of it in the codes that can help.

One of the valves had a whole in it. I have replaced all of the valves now and the motor is firing but it just won't continue to fire to completely start the motor. It will start once starter fluid is sprayed into the intake but once the fluid is depleted the motor shuts off. The car has been untuned with the ms4 for about 4 months while it was running. Compression is fine and fuel is getting to the fuel rail as well as the injectors.
