No need for a front plate and no smog in most of the state of AZ. Even where they have a biannual smog inspection you only have to pass a plug in for codes if your OBDII. I "passed" smog just last month.
Sweet, I'm saving money to move to AZ next year. I refuse to stay and fund this state with my tax money. Even though I'm not working lol, but still.

LS1tech members should all just move to a small town, start a car gang, and do whatever the **** we want...like the Sons of Anarchy.

Sweet, I lived in Apple Valley when I lived in Commiefornia. There are two 1/4 mile tracks here in the Phoenix Metro area. Firebird Raceway (NHRA Track) and Speedworld (they filmed the first couple episodes of Pinks there). They are open year around, unlike Fontana. Cost of living is awesome here, you can carry guns, and actually have rights. They don't smog check, they just hook you up to your OBD port and look for codes. You can register your vehicles for 2 years if you choose here. I think it was like 60 bucks to register my SS here. You don't have to wait hours at the DMV here. Walked out the same day, with my title, license plate, tag, and actual license. None of the bullshit that CA pulls with their DMV. Leave that state now! Sorry to hijack your thread OP.

Another reason not to live in california, along with the hatred towards gun ownership.

Like SM105K said, "Which one?" as we have 2 tracks here.

East Valley folks usually go to Firebird where they race Friday Night Drags. West side usually does SpeedWorld (time in my sig is from there). SpeedWorld has Saturday racing, club days and a lot of local type events like Street Racer Nights and a lot of other things. I usually do Firebird as it's only 15 minutes away (I live in Tempe) and SpeedWorld is 45 mins away.

I don't care what track as long as it's not in California. Where the resident's complain the track it too loud.

I keep checking on line but there is no info on my ticket. I called the court and my ticket has yet to be filed. My court date is scheduled for the the 19th but the clerk said I don't need to go since they don't have the ticket. Hopefully the citing officer forgot to file. I looked on the courts home page for the modified smog fine and it's $150 to $250.

The cops have one year from the date of the ticket to file it with the court.
