LA Invasion 2012 is back on! In the spirit of continuing the tradition of Westbound, “Vegas LSX Car Club” will be hosting this years LA Invasion 5. Having worked closely with Mark since the beginning, we’re honored to have the opportunity to do this event in his absence.

Since many of the tracks have closed, we will be doing a more relaxed event… IE No track day. We are keeping the Big Bear cruise and will have a Car Show / Raffle on the second day. Our goal is to have an inexpensive event in order to include as many cars as possible. Unfortunately no shirts this year.

Rim of the World Cruise Saturday May 26th 2012 (Memorial Day Weekend 2012)

May 26th, 2012 – SATURDAY @ 10:30am.
536 E. 40th St. and Waterman Ave San Bernadino CA, 92404
We will be heading out on the cruise at 10:30am so please be there EARLY. People start showing up as early as 8:00am.

Los Angeles Invasion – Rim of the World Cruise
This scenic route through the winding roads up to and around Big Bear provides excellent photo opportunities and is a exhilerating experience. Once in Big Bear we will stop at Mountain Munchies(42171 ˝ Big Bear Blvd) Your choice of one Entree: BBQ "Beef Barbacoa" or "Pulled Pork" on a Sesame Seed Bun, served with (2) Sides "Baked Beans" and "Potato Salad", plus "Grandmas Cookies" and a Canned Soda (a variety of flavors).

Pricing will be the same as last year at $10.95 including tax. Afterwards we will proceed down the 38 (don’t miss the turn) and stop at the bottom to regroup at Mcdonalds on 1796 E. LUGONIA ave Redlands CA, 92374 and enjoy a sundae. From there we proceed to the Red Roof Inn 1818 W. Holt Blvd Ontario CA, 91761.

hmmmm.... was just wondering when the next ROTW cruise would be. Might be worth going to one last time before I sell my car.

Once we stop in redlands in that plaza there is johnny tacos (sports bar and GREAT food) ill be there as they have the ufc fight on later on that day for those who wanna join

I just parked at Wildwood park, I'm the first one here. It's cloudy and the roads might be a little damp up there. It's dry here in the park.

 

Cruise was great. Weather was iffy in the beginning, but it cleared up and the cruise back down was way better! The group size was nice, too. Hard to get lost. Nice meeting you guys and seeing friendly faces again... Hopefully somebody will pick this up for next year!

It was fun, had a wonderful time with following you guys, next time il ride in the front XD. Got a headache riding in the back hahahaha.
