There was an L-series and an S-series.
L series (mid-size sedan and wagon): LS, LS1, and LS2 for sedans. "W" for wagon.
S series (compact coupe, sedan, wagon): SL, SL1, SL2, etc.
You are an idiot...there was both an LS1 and an SL1, two different models... post #2 and he even leaves a reference haha
