Races now days are organized. The days of meeting up on a side street are over (except for hondas). If you want a race you need 2 things: money to put down and connections. Someone's always looking for a race.

Cuz u guys are lookin in all the wrong area at the wrong times..lol theres constant racing every other night out here in the valley, ain't they ain't no hondas...u just gotta kno somebody. Who was lookin to race their m5? Interested in running the camaro In my Sig?

He's cool, he was around during the svtp v ls1 meet in diamond bar.
Honestly the street is the way it should be, it was bad when you had a solid race and 50 people showed up and burned the spot.
Haven't been to a certain cpt raceway. Anyone know how it is since they removed all the rubber?

Sorry to hear about ur boy that really sucks. Well im new to socal and i have been wanting to check out the street scene and see what its all about. So what are the say penalties if u get caught street racing. I know they can arrest u and impound ur car but ive read that they can sieze ur car permanently and or crush it. Is this true or is this just special cases. But seriously i want to check out some races so id love a tip on where to look.

yea car got released next day. only because it was under mommys name lol
hes facing about 2k in fines.. and his bail was $1500 .. so .. yea..

I miss the races we used to do in Diamond Bar and Ontario. Havn't seen most of you guys for a really long time now.
I'm pretty sure the city of Ontario is allowed to take your car for good and crush it. At least they used to back in the day and what the cops told us when we got caught in Chino about 3 years ago.

supposedly in the northwest sfv area (canoga park, encino, etc) there's plenty of street action on streets like plummer...I know it's on wednesday nights, probably most others too. I haven't had time yet to check it out personally but I've been meaning to. find a car person driving a fox or an fbody around there and ask them...most of them can tell you where to find the racing.
I've heard from cops who've pulled me over (who call themselves "street racing experts") that if they can get you for reckless driving at 100+, they can take your car for 30 days, suspend your license, and possibly seize it permanently? half of that is bullshit I'm sure, so you'd have to check out the vehicle code to be clear
