I went to the dark side... Not the blue oval dark, but darker...
I had to get a daily driver so I found this little gem, it is in amazingly great condition and AC works perfect. Hell it drives perfect with no overheating and clutch feels great. Not a bad $1300 purchase considering electrical is perfect as well.
I have always been a fan of this body style Integra and now I own one.
Oh and the seats I realized were not stock, they are Integra Type R seats. and it is an LS Special Edition so I got me 1.8L of fury!! lol.

Yeah I was expecting it to be a lot worse and to walk away from it, I just wanted to go take a look. There are no leaks/drips and the wife drove behind me on the way home and it wasn't smoking at all... I was kinda expecting it to break down driving home, I realized why it was so cheap, the guy got it at an auction from a towing company and only paid $500, I am interested as to why it was there but hey it runs great and I will be checking it over again this weekend with a compression test and leak down test.

Here are just two more.
I pulled the window motor the other night, it was a breeze, maybe a little over an hour since the window was stuck all the way down in the door, I am getting a new one tonight and getting that together and going to try and smog it. I see if has failed in the past so now I am curious why...
It doesn't show a fail due to tampered emissions systems, but yeah I just caught a tiny oil leak from a cam seal so I will be getting a valve cover gasket set and cam seals this weekend.

Yeah it was some stupid pig looking import emblem, I am trying to find the stock Acura badges.
Interestingly enough someone actually bought some nice speakers at some point albeit they are old ones, they are some blaupunkt p652C speakers in the doors and hatch, sounds pretty good but the head unit is out dated lol.
I will say OBD1 is hilarious, made a little jumper last night to get the check engine code, apparently my coolant temp sensor is bad and causing it to run rich as hell.

Nice beater, I had a 96 back in the day. Not fast at all, but really damn reliable. That era is when Honda's were actually reliable. The wife has had two pilots and luckily they were leases and I was glad to give them back.

Yeah so far I have been just getting it good to go, head gasket was fine, but radiator has cracks... Plus I had to do some other small things.
It is pretty peppy for a little car lol.
