Default Catalytic Converters

Hey guys,

It's been a while since I've been on!

As the title of the thread might suggest, I'm in need to borrow a set of catalytic converters for a smog :/ With about 150K through mine, it appears that they're on their way out.

Is anyone willing to lend me theirs? I'll be willing to pick them up, pay to borrow them, and drop them back off.

I live Orange County, CA. 92780.

Thanks!

Run you car in first gear at about 4500 rpms for about a mile. This will heat up the cats and go directly to a smog shop. That should do the trick. I am not trolling either, I used to do it in my Foxbody when I lived in that Commie State.

I've tried a rendition of this a time or two, and no luck. It's time to just pony up to some used cats. Looks like I found a set with less than 90K through them for a good price But thank you for the input!
