My buddy ran his FBO 335 on E85 there. At Irwindale he ran an 8.3 sec. 1/8 mile at 85mph. At Fontana he ran an 8.7 @ 83. Huge difference primarily due to not traveling uphill or at altitude. I may go if I get my exhaust situated in time.

I made it out to Irwindale last night and gained a lot of time. Ran a 8.12 @ 88 mph with a 1800ft DA.

Well I'm impressed. What was your 1/8 at Fontana and mph. I'm seeing others have a disparity of 2-3 tenths of a sec. and 2 mph, and am curious if your results are the same?

I ran about a 8.6 @ Fontana, will have to check the time slip to be sure, but it was a lot slower. Im beginning to think that going back to ram air had a huge difference.

My next mods are going to be long tubes, battery relocation, and a 15" wheel setup with 26x10.5 ET Drags to get the 60' down, hopefully it will run a 7.7 or so with those mods, especially in the colder winter air.
Well I just ran at Irwindale, and in negative density altitude. I was expecting a higher mph. First gear went well, as on street tires I was cutting a 2.1 sec. 60'. Once I hit second gear though, everything went downhill. Second was basically useless. It never grabbed on the 3 passes that I made. Interestingly I even spun 3rd on my first run. That's something I can't even do on the street. My best pass was a 8.8 @ 86 mph. I'm positive I'd tap a lot higher if I had grip, but I think they only prepped the first 100 feet of the track.
