Bay Area shop for Electrical Issues Hi Everybody!
Ive had my 1998 Camaro SS for 8 years now. Unfortunately, it's been sitting for a while because of BCM issues and security light issues. The windows and radio goes out at the same time, which I have read is a common problem and has to do with the BCM. My other issue doesn't seem as common. The security light will go on and the car wont start, or the security light appear and the car will randomly start honking. It honks once or twice randomly when driving or it will be parked and honk every once and a while, which seems to drain the battery. I've read that this might be a problem with the VATS system?
I have been screwed over before and I really just want to get these issues fixed so I can enjoy the car again. I know there are tutorials online to fix the BCM but I would feel more comfortable with someone that knows what they're doing to fix it. Does anyone know any good shops for these issues in the SF Bay Area? South or East bay would be preferable.
