San Diego, Excelsior Motorsports has great reviews. JBA although not so good reviews here. And Top Flight Corvette which I have yet to get a response from people here. CMS seems to be the place to go though. There's also custombuiltmotors(cbm) up in Colton and izzyperformance somewhere up there too.

CMS is a good shop but the guy who owns it seems to be hit or miss on wether or not he really cares about tuning your car that day. Kind of a pain to deal with

Haha @CMS I've heard this from quite a few. Basically if he wants to tune your car let him his tunes are second to none. If he isn't excited to tune your car, well you might be better off using someone else.

That being said, I will be calling Ryne when I finish my turbo build and hopefully be getting one of his A+ tunes because the guys who have those great tunes cars run better than stock. Also we have to remember there's 2 sides to a story. No matter how good the tune is it won't run well if the build is ****. I'm hoping I get those good vibes when I call him.

Just leave the Illinois plates on it and say you are from out of state? None of kits are street legal really. There were a few (sts rear mount) I believe but as a whole run it hard and don't get pulled over!

Back up, car is built and runs, but looking for a shop for tuning, seem to be about a month out for scheduling for the few places checked so far, wondering if anyone had recommendations. Although in the process of the build, the rearend was rebuilt and may need some break in miles before putting runs on a dyno...
