I got the stage 2 from Performabuilt transmission rated to 700hp. Installed like a dream, cept I did have 2 pan bolts that seeped oil. little RTV on the bolt threads and problem stopped. Still have a minor rotational vibration in 3rd gear at 40mph, but its way better than the stock tranny and I only have 500 miles on the new one so I am hoping with some more break-in it goes away. And I am not positive it is the tranny, although at 42mph when it shifts into drive it does go away...might be the carrier bearings or driveshaft too, the only 2 items I haven't replaced in the drive train.

So far it has taken the abuse I have given it. 401 rwhp, 386 lb/ft torque on the dyno.

I have this also. It's a proven setup at lower hp.

I dont want to hijack this thread, but after some more reading by me, I would like to add the car is lowered 1.25 inches, has subframe connectors and BMR adjustable shocks, and with my additional reading that might be the vibrations I am feeling. Everything is translated right to your A$$ with this setup and as this is my first F-body it might be I just dont know exactly what I am feeling. Any F-body guys in the Rochester NY area, send me a PM and I will let you drive it and maybe you can tell me what I am feeling. Please PM me so we dont hijack this persons thread. Just wanted to add this so it doesnt color your opinion of the tranny.
