For example, there is a TSB out on my driveshaft due to vibration, but the Radix made it such that my driveshaft failure cannot be wholly attributable to the factors outlined in the TSB. So even if/though the manufacturing defect/issue (vibration) certainly contributed to my failure, when all is said and done, I ended up paying out of pocket.
Unfortunate, but that is the way it is when you mod your vehicle....at least at my dealership.

I dont think that is covered!
ssshhooo be very quiet my dad needs a trany..
Warranty ... James B once told me a while back that the warranty it there to fix factory defects. It's not there to fix or correct your mistakes or something you've caused to break.
The warranty cannot be voided on an entire vehicle. There are some service managers that will try and pull that on you, but they can't. I tried to get a brake caliper replaced under warranty because it started leaking when I was having someone change the pads out. They said they weren't touching it because of the blower. I told them that was bull ****, hung up and called GM customer care. I got my new brake caliper and the service manager told me after that, that was it for warranty work. I got some lights replaced 2 weeks after that because they had moisture in them too.
As a consumer, you have rights. As the manufacturer, they have rights too though. After I put the blower on, the trans went out. I knew that was not their fault, and flipped the bill for that one myself. I also had a power steering pump problem with the blower on. I went through the same situation as the brake caliper. I got the power steering pump replaced. You need to know what's going on and be smarter than the service manager. It doesn't take much sometimes.
Obviously if you have a cam in your truck and end up with a bunch of bent pushrods. It's not a factory defect, therefore it's not up to them to get it repaired. That's purely a result of the cam since those pushrods weren't meant to take that kind of abuse.
