The 'street' scene in San Diego has been dead for a several years. Back in the day we had quite the car 'hangout' going on with street races, but with the popo cracking down on everything it all fell apart and moved to remote unadvertised locations.

So we mostly just hang out in our small 'groups' and do car things, nothing really big gets organized except for maybe a cruise every now and then.

You can probably still find rice at the rollercoaster in Mission Beach, and Diane's has some muscle cars on Saturday night

There's a bunch of us that get together in North County just about every Monday night at Pizza Port in Carlsbad. The 1st Monday of each month is when the most cars come out, but theres a few of us that are normally there just about every Monday night. Here's a link to a post with the info... https://ls1tech.com/forums/western-members/167334-monthly-carlsbad-pizza-port-meet.html

My friends and I aren't looking for races just to get together with some other Car guys to shoot the **** and talk to. Nothing really special just wanting to cruise down and meet some new people.

I generally host a poker game at my house over the weekend, just play poker and bs about cars.
