no shift kit install at don lee? called for a quote for install on 3200 vig, b&m trans cooler, and transgo shift kit. they said $325 for the tc and cooler, but they wont do shift kit because they are "too complicated."
so two questions...
1. has anyone here gotten a shift kit install from don lee?
2. is it that complicated?
3. should i even get a shift kit?
4. if i do get one, should i install it or is it worth it to get it done professionally
i am a capable person, but im young (18 and in college) and this is my one and only daily driver. i dont have the money to fix a **** up, or to have a car out of commission. (i dont want to be liable for **** going wrong either)

Not sure where you are at, but we do shift kits and TQ convertor installs all the time. Its not complicated, just time consuming. You just have to know what you are doing. Give us a call if you want some info.

I bought the rebuild kit seperate for ~$600 and Toy Shop did the rebuild for $1000 (out of the car). I liked their service, and I will tell you the results in a couple of weeks.
