Reno area guys
Reno area guys I have few questions for you if you don't mind. My best friend just got a job at a marine on Lake Tahoe and is moving to Reno. He wants me to move with him and theres not a whole lot keeping me in NE Indiana. My questions are: What kind of jobs are there in the area for a 24 year guy. My buddy went out there and said basicly there plenty of casino's and bars. I have done some bartender and enjoy that or working at some sort of auto shop but does it pay that good out there. Also or there any good schools in the area. And do you guys have emissions testing because my Z won't pass because we don't have any here. And last of all is there a drag strip close so I can still run the car. Thank you anyone taking the time to read this and helping he out. And if I do decide to move out there I hope get to meet some of you and hang out.
Reno and Tahoe are full of jobs, year round. Nevada does have some form of smog, but no where near what CA would be. In the summer you could work on the lake or at a casino or bar. In the winter, you could work on any one of the multiple ski resorts in the area and also work as a bartender or casino worker. There is also the automotive service industry, although it tends to get a little cold in the winter. Good luck and you always have HOT AUGUST NIGHTS in the summer.

You have to smog your car every year if you live in Reno. But if you could register the car in Fernley (30 miles east of Reno) you would not have to smog it. The closest track is in Fernley, but it is on the straightaway of a road course and it kinda sucks. The closest decent track is in Fallon, 75 miles away.

Fallon raceway is worth the drive over fernly. was there for the first time on sat. was lots a fun

nevada is what you make it theres always the silver state classic 90 miles flat out on a public highway.
