clarification so im curious...
what does everyone here consider a "car club".
is a car club any group of people that are together?
is a car club any website that is dedicated to one kind of car or a group of cars?
for instance, while you could consider immortals, west coast fbodies, gmeternal, gmlegacy, and other car groups clubs, can you consider LS1tech,fbody addict,camaroz28,firebirdv6.com,etc. also car clubs even though the websites themselves do not organize meets? (mind you that a club will organize its own meetings, where a lot of the forums do not do anything of the sort)
Merriam webster's dictionary offers this defintion:
a : An association of persons for some common object usually jointly supported and meeting periodically; also : a group identified by some common characteristic <nations in the nuclear club>
By that definition, websites cannot be considered a club because many of them do not meet regularly -- but maybe some of you still consider them clubs?
whichever. the point of this post is to get a feel for what exactly you define a "car club" to be. so let me know
