my first STI encounter...

my first STI encounter... well i finally got to race a NICE STI.... i must start out by saying i really do like these cars alot.... evo's also....
any way, i was headind down to sandiego from san marcos on the 15S when i came across a black wrx STI, that sounded awsome.... there was a TON of traffis so i had the chance to talk to him for a second.... he said he had full exhaust, no cats, more boost, etc... 400hp est.
so i said well if the traffic ever lets up lets run'um....
he was a real cool guy, around 26, i think he was in the army?
so about an hour later near miramar we finally had our chance....
so we got side bt side, let the traffic go ahead of us.... and raced from a 70mph roll.... which for me is in 4th around 3k rpm...
BAM... were off... he stayed next to me until i got to 5k rpm, (he had to shift)
by 6200rpm around 115mph i had 1+car.... shifted into fith gear and went up to about 120-125 and i had about 3+ cars on him.... then braked for more traffic.....
we did this about 2 more times with the same outcome.... i wish we could of raced from a 30mph roll, or from a dig.... but o-well.....
he was a cool guy with a bad *** car...
but it wasnt bad *** enough for the HUGGER SS !
just wanted to share that with you guys!
so how have any of you guys raced a modded STI yet?

i live in vista, where abouts do you live???? M6HuggerSS??? i am looking at starting a ls1 car club or something around in this area, north county..... there just isnt enough gto's to do anything,,,, meets, cruises etc..

im off of sycamore... a couple of us meet up at pizza port in carlsbad on the first monday of each month.... and there is a little car show at "daltons" off nordal, the first sunday of each month.....
