is nitrous legal. .
Mis-info, I don't think so! Don't we all wish! What you guys are forgetting is that CA just dumped a bunch of money to crack down on modified cars. What happened to someone 2 years ago has no bearing on what is going on as of late. Drive down the strip on any weekend, and you'll see atleast a few cars pulled over, with their hoods popped and a tow truck next to them. You wanna bank on the "chance" that through missed days of work and court dates, that you "might" get off on an illegal search and seizure. Good luck! Go ahead and leave it in plain site......see if I care. Don't say I didn't warn you though.
I personally would be more concerned about getting caught off-guard as opposed to when I know there is a good chance I'll get pulled over.
I thought I read it correctly. You said "you can't pop your hood for those." You didn't explain what you meant by "those", so I guess it's open for interpretation. I was just trying to say that you can be asked to pop your hood for "those." They can make you pop your hood any time you get pulled over. Nitrous switches, A/F ratio gauges, no front plate, etc. They will now even pull you over for a sticker and ask you to pop your hood. A sticker is considered "intent."
It may cost more than getting sent to the ref in the end though.
Even if you have drugs in your car, if they don't have probable cause or permission to search it, its inadmissable in court.
Its the same thing. Its all in how good of a lawyer you can get and how much money you have.
